National Sales Manager
The National Sales Manger (NSM) is responsible for selling innovative handheld PC products to corporate clients in a multi-state region. Activities primarily consist of generating customer interest, qualifying opportunities and leads, and closing deals to Fortune 2000 prospects. The successful candidate is required to promptly qualify prospects and facilitate customers’ purchasing process to close significant opportunities. The NSM must have relevant sales experience to corporate purchasing as well as IT, and conduct a consultative sales process involving multiple constituents with the customer's organization.
responsibilities
- Develop a regional sales plan that includes direct/indirect/tele sales strategies
- Identify / qualify sales prospects for size and probability of closing deals
- Heavy prospecting, must demonstrate ability to understand and navigate target account's org chart to develop advocates
- Call high within customer organization and obtain buy-in from senior decision makers
- Conduct consultative/solution sales process with key personnel at target accounts
- Present competitive analysis versus alternative solutions using ROI approach
- Assimilate product details, customer use cases and perfect the sales pitch
- Ability to work in a disciplined fashion within an unstructured start-up environment
- Regular communication of deals and opportunities to management keeping detailed records of customer interactions in sales force automation system
- Provide market and product feedback to OQO corporate management
- Drive sales results and routinely meet or exceed quotas
- Partner with inside sales to drive revenue in region
requirements
- 8+ years experience as a sales rep selling high technology products to corporations
- Minimum of Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Consistent over quota sales performance
- Domain expertise or experience selling into specific corporate verticals is a plus
- Creates a positive impression through personal interaction in person, over phone and email
- Interest in technology and ability to get along with a diverse team
- Strong customer focus, well organized and highly responsive
- Creative approach and proven ability to sell
- Deals effectively with ambiguity
- Superior follow-through
- Ability to juggle multiple customers and issues simultaneously
