TECHTV SELECTS OQO AS THE "BEST OF CES" WINNER IN THE MOBILE COMPUTING AND WIRELESS CATEGORY
San Francisco, CA, January 13, 2004 - OQO today announces that the OQO ultra personal computer (uPC) was selected by TECHTV as the "Best of CES" in the Mobile Computing and Wireless product category. OQO's unveiling at CES heralds a radical transformation of personal computing by finally offering pocketable Windows XP mobility to consumers and the enterprise.
TECHTV, an established authority on the hottest new products and technology, chose the best and brightest from more than 5,000 new products making their debut at the 2004 International CES. The TechTV appointed panel of technology journalists selected winners in several categories according to their innovative appeal, usability, usefulness, and value.
The OQO computer was chosen as the Best Mobile Computing and Wireless solution among the new portable systems and mobile wireless devices including PDAs, handheld GPS devices, handheld computers, wireless add-ons, cellular phones, 2.5G and 3G handsets, and other portable data devices.
"The OQO computer is the result of a four year effort aimed at taking mainstream PC hardware development to the next level" said Jory Bell, CEO of OQO. "This award and the tremendous response at CES shows just how strongly people feel about having their computer with them all the time."

The winners were announced on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at an awards ceremony that took place in the Grand Lobby at the Las Vegas Convention Center, where the show was taking place. CES attendees, show finalists, TechTV staff and talent, judges and a host of media outlets gathered at the event to witness the unveiling of this year's finalists and winners.
